The North Point Development at 65 Business Parade North in Highbrook Business Park, East Tāmaki, is a benchmark in sustainable industrial design, developed for Fackelmann and Viscount FC. It features two modern warehouses—Warehouse A (5,000 m²) and Warehouse B (2,000 m²)—strategically located for seamless access to Auckland’s transport network.

Achieving a 5-Star Green Star Built rating, the project integrates key sustainability features:

• Rooftop solar systems: Cover over 50% of baseload energy needs.
• Rainwater harvesting: Reduces water use by 80%.
• Low-carbon materials: Incorporates high-performance glazing and lower-carbon concrete.
• Energy efficiency: Includes LED lighting, intelligent controls, and high-performance insulation.
• Native landscaping: Enhances site ecology and integrates natural elements.

Situated in a sensitive coastal area, the project involved collaboration with ecologists to protect the local environment and the implementation of an Environmental Management Plan (EMP) to ensure positive environmental outcomes. Close engagement with local iwi ensured the project aligned with cultural values and aspirations for the land.
The site lies within Transpower easements, requiring precise planning to maintain full grid functionality during construction, achieved through close coordination with Transpower.

Warehouse A includes a two-story office, breezeway canopy, and yard, while Warehouse B features a single-story office, canopy, and yard, both supported by ample parking, utilities, and landscaped spaces.
